formed
in 1998, karina ESP create warm|dark drones and experimental ambient,
occasionally seeping into blissed-out 'space rock'. since beginning,
only minimal equipment has been afforded, with sounds being created
from various effects pedals and guitar, a few other instruments
and environmental samples. all recordings are mastered onto multi-track
analogue tape. early long-players were heavily influenced by the
idyllic pastoral setting in which they were recorded, but more recent
output has been of a darker and more intense sensibility.
